He’s literally stalking the plant in his tank.
Like, trying to sneak up on it and “attack” it.
He’ll slowly sneak up behind a leaf and suddenly dart at it from behind, quickly swim away, then “sneak attack” another leaf.
Like a kitten with a laser pointer dot.
